A Vegas taxi driverYet, despite taxi drivers’ inability to offer sound investment advice, they are full of great one-liners, some of which are intensely packed with practical and useful wisdom.  They, more than most, have seen and heard the good, the bad, and the ugly of society.

When you travel, are you hypersensitive to new experiences and people?  Do you find yourself more interested in the mundane?  Are you more open to reach out to strangers, jump on a bus, or try something entirely new?  New cultures are exciting.  New foods are delicious, or at least a fun adventure.  New pathways are clean air to the lungs.  And waiting for delayed train offers time for appreciated reflection and rest rather than impatience and frustration.
